YouTube Create

Mobile video editing for YouTube creators

YouTube Create is a video editor for people who want to turn phone footage into videos for YouTube without moving to a desktop suite. It suits beginners, Shorts makers and regular uploaders who need a straightforward timeline, built-in creative tools and a direct path to publishing.

Tools for a complete edit

The app covers several common jobs in one place. You can trim and arrange clips, add music and sound effects, create captions automatically, and reduce unwanted background noise in recorded audio. Its asset library includes royalty-free tracks and effects, while beat matching can help align edits with music. A cut-out effect is also available for removing backgrounds without a green screen.

• Captions: Generate subtitles without transcribing dialogue by hand.
• Audio cleanup: Reduce distracting noise in voice recordings.
• Music and effects: Add sounds from the included royalty-free library.
• Cut-outs: Separate subjects from their backgrounds for overlays and other compositions.

Best suited to simple, fast workflows

YouTube Create keeps its controls focused on the tasks most mobile creators need. That makes it easier to start editing with little prior experience, though users looking for detailed animation, advanced compositing or a full professional timeline may find its scope limited. The app is most useful when speed and convenience matter more than fine-grained control.
